Tutoring 360 (website is currently offline) is a new company that has Korean students. They are looking for both native and non-native teachers but your pay might be dependent on this. A certificate is not required, but they would like teachers with some teaching experience and a university degree or currently enrolled in a university. The company provides the teaching material and students choose their teachers based on their profile. Teachers remain in “standby” when they are ready to teach and students can then choose them. They pay between $4-14 per hour.

Can listings like this one please just be deleted from your otherwise excellent website. I’ve just wasted a few moments reading for no reason

They only pay $3!!!!. There is no booking system so you gotta wait till someone finds you, minimum of 4 hrs a day! (basically you’ll be waiting for 4hrs a day) They are more focused on pronunciation and intonation (they’ll give you about 6 pages of words- 1 mistake your done). I don’t believe in a school who focuses on the pronunciation instead of the grammar and the charisma of the teacher. They say they have high standards for the teacher- Honestly if the pay is that low, you won’t get the best teachers!

I’m not like some people who believe teachers deserve the moon and the stars, but I have to agree that $3-$4 is pretty abhorrent pay for any sort of teacher. You’re not going to attract quality teachers with pay like that.
