FluentBe (homepage link) is based in Poland and are currently hiring teachers with 1 year of experience teaching adults.. The students are mostly Polish adults. It looks like they teach 1 on 1 and group classes of up to 4 people. FluentBe pays around $10 USD per hour (possibly negotiable).

Pay is abysmal, office staff are rude and unhelpful.

Hi. I applied to them earlier this month. Apparently, they rejected me because I am not in the same time zone as them. I think that’s an unfair advantage. I have all the credentials and experience and because where I live they won’t even give me a chance. If the salary that is listed here is correct then I know other ESL schools in Europe that pays more. And then, in their message they said that I ever move to Europe that I can reapply for this school. Ummm, NO! So I think about it this way… If I am rejected because of this than its THEIR loss.

Then they lied to you. They have teachers all over the world, Africa, America, Asia etc.
The people there are not above telling you stuff that isn’t quite correct.
You were lucky, they didn’t want you.

I’m a Brit living in Poland.
I’ve been working part time for Fluentbe since June this year. I have no complaints, the people are nice and helpful, the students are good quality, mostly professional people. It takes a while to build up your student base and the pay isn’t fantastic, but they pay on time. A positive experience for me. I recommend them.
