ETalking Online Review
ETalking is a Taiwanese company that focuses on teaching English to adults. They also have younger students, but most of their students are adults who want to improve their English for business or travel reasons. They want native speaking English teachers only, but a degree and TEFL certificate are not necessary (but preferred). ETalking online pays a starting rate of $12 – $15 USD per hour but performance bonuses are also available. Classes are 45 minutes with about 15 minutes of report writing after each class. Their website is in Chinese but their main email is service@etalkingonline.com.

I worked for them and was unfairly fired for being too opinionated and talking too much,
and they put my teaching account on hold for a while, and did’t say how much time, all from just 1 student
while the rest of the students were happy with me. So I need to be retrained to be like a brainless robot to teach.
Then the students will complain about this too.
Really it came downto the fact that the manager has some personal issues with management and with me.
She takes things personally and makes things personal and if. she doesn’t like you, you will get fired and given a lie
that they will freeze your account for a while, not saying how long, by that time you teaching reputation will be ruined, and oh by the way we may retrain you. Retrain me for what exactly!!!!

I know someone from Taiwan, and she checked them out in Manderin for me. They seem to have a good reputation, so I’m going to give it a go.

I can’t see much about them, except job listings. No one working for them has gone to YouTube to talk about their experience.

This is obviously Korean. Also, obvious, it is just another crappy one just like all the Chinese companies !
