dma1on1 is a TERRIBLE company. I have been teaching online for 12 years and with 8 different companies. I have NEVER been treated so bad, like I was with dma. They cheat the teachers. Students are allowed to cancel class minutes from class time, and teacher gets NOTHING. dma will cheat the teacher every chance they get. I am an American but currently in the Philippines. We had a typhoon (act of God / act of nature) 2 weeks ago which knocked out my internet for 4 days, so I could not teach my classes for 4 days. I provided proof from our internet provider. BUT dma penalized me $10 for every class that I could not teach because of NO INTERNET. Total PENALTY of $160. Every other company has forgiven any missed classes if I provided PROOF of no internet / electric, due to “act of God / act of nature”. BUT NOT dma!!!!! They treat teachers like garbage. Stealing from teachers teaching money. Even if you teach a class, if you forget to give a log in or log out time, you will NOT be paid. DO NOT work for dma.

This is the adminstrator from Dma1on1. In regards to Mr. Jeperson’s accusations, we would like to list the reasons of Mr. Jeperson’s contract being termniated before the end of the probation period. Mr. Jeperson missed 1/4 of classes in his first month of working, several last-minute cancellations due to unreliable equipment, cut short half of the class time, and unprofessional replies in email content. Furthermore, the compnay never applied any penalty towards those classes Mr. Jeperson missed during the typhoon. We understand Mr. Jeperson’s frustration due to his contract being terminated, but wish him the best in his teaching endeavors.
