Bizmates

Bizmates Review

Bizmates is based in the Philippines but they teach business English to Japanese students. Non native speakers welcome, it looks like they aren’t very strict when it comes to requirements. Bizmates pays $3 – $4.60 per hour (140 – 220 PHP) up to $1200 per month.

  • Another one to avoid, at $2 an hour it is impossible to earn thousands of dollars a month as Goodairlanguage says.

  • In some cases goodairlanguage has kindly given the student site but in many case, including this one, only the site for hiring teachers. I am looking to find the cheapest site for conversation practice for my Japanese students.

Most Japanese find it difficult to do more than that, if expected to do more, especially at first, are likely to stop their lessons, alas. But there are ways of getting them accustomed to talking in English, and as bizmate, reading materials is one of them.

But perhaps you mean that teacher training consists in reading materials.

  • I refused a job at Bizzmates after being forced to have multiple demo lessons that lasted for 1 hour each.
The pay listed here is not correct - they offered 1.4USD with a chance of a raise if you keep working for them.
The maximum pay is 4USD and they require you to be a robot in a suit. Reading the materials is not education.

  • I believe Bizmates is one of the best ESL companies ever established. The students are so polite, the starting pay is very fair, the system is considerate, most especially the staff and CEO are just so hands on. It's like being in a one big family!
